Does anyone know of any dominican or puertorican hair stylist or hair salons here in San Diego?

im from nyc and have been here in SD for about 3 yrs now and i have yet to find a good hairstylist especially one that knows how to blow dry hair w/o using a flat iron as their main source to dry hair..w/e happen to using rolos and a good blow dry??!??!Does anyone know of any dominican or puertorican hair stylist or hair salons here in San Diego?
I know how you feel. Apparently there aren't many Dominicans or Puerto Ricans in California- so when I was out there for a year, I pretty much had to deal with whatever I could do myself.





Anyway- what you're looking for is an ethnic hair salon. What I'd do is go to your telephone book %26amp; go to the salon section. Start calling different places %26amp; ask if they have anyone who is a specialist in ethnic hair. Ask if you can speak to them or leave your name %26amp; number for them to call you back. Ask them about their techniques (especially the drying technique, since that is what you're concerned about) %26amp; if you feel comfortable about what they're telling you- ask if you can make an appointment to come in.





I live in NYC %26amp; trust me when I tell you that I know what you're going through. I moved to Delaware for awhile %26amp; I went from being able to go into any salon %26amp; them knowing what to do- to me not being able to go into any salon.
