How do i ask the stylist at the salon for scene/emo hair?

i have seen all the pictures


but i don't know what to ask for


do i ask for layers?choppy layer?


do i ask for it razor-ed?


or thinned?


what kind of side bangs do i get?


whats the style called?


how long should the layers be???


i love the style and i have been waiting over a year to get it done and i cant WAIT!!!!

Just ask them for lots of layers, starting at the cheekbone.


Tell them to make your hair thinner at the bottom %26amp; have short layers near the top or 'crown area' of your head.


Emo/Scene hair is very choppy, and sort of 'shag' like.


also, you might want to ask for side bangs.

Bring a picture of it to the hairdresser and I'm sure that would be fine.
Just bring a picture in, then they will know exactly what you mean.
Bring in a picture of what you want.
