Do You Need to be a licensed hair stylist to work at Smart Styles Salon in Wal-Mart??

I've been cutting hair for people I know for a long time. I'm really good at it and I know what i'm doing when it comes to hair but I'm not licensed because I haven't had the money to go to school for it. So I was wondering If I could get a job at the wal-mart salon without being licensed??

Please answer only if you work or have worked there or know someone who did! ThanksDo You Need to be a licensed hair stylist to work at Smart Styles Salon in Wal-Mart??
I don't know but I would rather have my hair cut by some one who is good at it whether they have a license or not! I know many people who are licensed and can't cut hair at all !!!Do You Need to be a licensed hair stylist to work at Smart Styles Salon in Wal-Mart??
Licenses are issued by the state. Licensing, inspection, and employement requirements are dicated by state law. None of the fifty states currently allows anyone to cut hair for compensation without a license. It has nothing to do with the salon.

You have to be licensed before you can work on any License in ANY salon....But if they're hiring you can be a shampoo girl, clean up, or a reciptionist...if you aren't licensed and your doing hair on a Real client, you and them can be fined....But you know, If you go to a Cos. school, They have Finacial aid and loans you can take out.
