Attn. stylists--how does the salon get hair so clean & shiny?

Whenever I get a haircut I'm always amazed at how clean and shiny my hair looks once it's been washed and blown dry. Is there some sort of trick to this? It can't just be the shampoo because even when I use the same shampoos at home my hair doesn't look so clean, shiny and bouncy. How do they do it??

I'm wondering if perhaps the difference is that salons have filters to remove minerals from the water they wash your hair with whereas I have hard water at home.Attn. stylists--how does the salon get hair so clean %26amp; shiny?
The difference is the length of time we manipulate the hair, scrub if you will, and we are always sure to rinse rinse rinse, if any shampoo or conditioner is left in the hair it leaves a film and thus the hair doesn't shine as well as it can, and also if you will notice, we have lighting that shines down upon your head to enhance the gleam coming from your hair. Also a hairdresser may be appling a little of Bio silk to your hair which creates a false shin in the hair, but it sure leaves it silky and shiny. As far as the bounciness of your hair, when we blow it dry we pull away from your head creating a lift, you can do this by blowing your hair up side down and brushing it the opposite directions, ie brush the back forward, the side up and over your head to the other side and reverse for the other side. These little secrets will help you achieve what we do. Good luck and Good StylingAttn. stylists--how does the salon get hair so clean %26amp; shiny?
They use all the right products, have all the best appliances and know tricks that they can even teach you to do with your hair.
omg i no its like my hair is healthy after i get it washed at the salon and stuff but when i wash it its like regular not all shiny and stuff
its easier for a person to do ur hair then to do it uself. They may have a certain brush and styling product to help make ur hair shine
look @ the shampoo/cond. they use its probably that!
