Do hair salons have their best stylists under a certain listing, or is there a special way to ask for the best?

person at the salon? This ';stylist'; yesterday totally screwed my son's hair up and now I am having to take him someplace else. School is about to start and when we got home yesterday he went to his room, slammed his door and was crying. I want to do what I can to make sure I pick the right person to help us. He is 8 years old.Do hair salons have their best stylists under a certain listing, or is there a special way to ask for the best?
They usually have different titles... So the Junior Stylists are usually the ones who aren't that great.. I think....

Then the senior stylists are more expensive but better... I'm not too sure about the whole heirarchy of salons, but I know that them two are definitely in there xDo hair salons have their best stylists under a certain listing, or is there a special way to ask for the best?
it depends on what salon you go to- usually the cheaper ones like Great Clips, and Fantastic Sams only offer one level stylist (usually right out of beauty school), so you really can't ask for a different one there.

But if you go to a higher end salon, like Jade/Aveda or Paul Mitchell, or even Vidal Sasson, theres a price listing on how much per each level, i think its like beginner stylist, experienced stylist, master stylist? it depends on salon- some salons have 2 levels and some salons have 3 levels.

Also, read up on reviews of the salon and see who does the best hair- sometimes experieince doesn't always guarantee the best result. You can search http://www.yelp.com for salons in your areas that get rave reviews, and bad reviews.

good luck!
