my ';boss'; (even though we are considered independant contractors) will text us saying to watch what we say when we are out with previous employers. then since she got into a feud withthe landlord, she is moving us upstairs until the lease runs out in jan. we don't make any commission on products we sell and she takes 50 percent of our income. she texted us about moving our stuff upstairs when it was not our issue and made us feel bad when we didn't come to do it...is this worth itI am a stylist at a salon. I earn commission yet get a paycheck under the 1099?
no not at all...but the career is awesome.. i am a cosmetology student and i already have 2 spa salons that are willing to take me ... i would start making a portfolio of all your great work.( hair cuts,styles, updos, highlights,lowlights, full color..what ever you favor..and start applying to different salons, salon spas...you will surely get hired...it sounds like your boss is stealing your money and you dont even know it.....dont give up on this carreer give up your boss...and find a great new work location!! i wish you my best.
