If you use strictly hand held blow dryers in a hair salon do the stylists have to be licensed?

I currently reside in Atlanta GA and i go to a dominican hair shop , they do not use heating irons or curlers they roller set your hair and blow dry the roots so that the hair is smooth and has body. I have never seen any licensing on their stations so I wanted to know if they were required to even have a license they seem to have a lot of business. If you use strictly hand held blow dryers in a hair salon do the stylists have to be licensed?
WHEN YOU TOUCH SOMEONE AND ALTER THEIR LOOKS YOU HAVE TO BE LICENSED . THIS IS IN ANY STATE . A SHAMPOO GIRL HAS TO HAVE A DOCTORS EXCUSE TO STATE SHE DOESN'T HAVE ANY COMMUNICABLE DISEASES TO WORK IN A SALON .IF SOMEONE IS USING ANYTHING ON YOU AND YOU ARE PAYING FOR IT , IN A SALON , THEY HAVE TO HAVE A COSMETOLOGIST LICENSE. PERIOD ! DON'T LET THEM TELL YOU ANYTHING ELSE . ALSO CONTACT THE STATE BOARD OF COSMETOLOGY IN YOUR STATE FOR MORE RULES AND REQUIREMENTS .If you use strictly hand held blow dryers in a hair salon do the stylists have to be licensed?
Good question because there are a lot of shops where you get your hair braided and they dont have licenses. I would think that they would need a license...even if they are just rolle setting your hair. Just out of curiousity, do they put you under a hood dryer to dry the rest of your hair?
they should have a certificate saying they have license somewhere that is against the law to not have the certificate up saying that they have license
