Is it a good idea to purchase a salon that has no stylists.?

I am thinking of purchasing a salon because the price is great, only $12,000 and the place is already in business with all equipment included. The downside is that the salon only nets about $10,900 per year and none of the current stylists will stay. Does this sound like something worth pursuing. Serious thoughts please. Is it a good idea to purchase a salon that has no stylists.?
Possibly, if you can staff it with some good stylists with their own clientele then you could make out pretty good on that deal. Since the economy is so bad, there are probably a lot of stylists out there job hunting. Is it a good idea to purchase a salon that has no stylists.?
no, why would you do that?

you know of course a salon charges rent to the stylists plus a percentage of what they bring in

so no stylist = no money

and if you have never run a business before, especially a contractor style business ( and you must be careful here as the IRS does crack down on those who operate as contractor / contractees style verse employer / employee type of relationship ), you can burn thru cash really fast and go bankrupt really fast.
Who are the clientelle? Can you raise prices a bit? Why won't the stylists stay? Who will you bring in if they dont. Can you afford to lose all your investment?
