Help! im going to a realllly fancy salon in beverly hills... how much should i tip my stylist?

im gonna go to a fancy salon tomorrow to get my hair colored and trimmed... all the celebrities go to this salon too. so how much should i tip my stylist/colorist? its one person.Help! im going to a realllly fancy salon in beverly hills... how much should i tip my stylist?
Usually it's 10% of the bill for hairstylists.





However, I normally tip 15% based on how well the cut is. If it's fabulous, tip him/her well. If it's not what you wanted or expected, just tip the 10%.





But, since it is just him/her doing it...raise the bar a little and tip 15% if it's mediocre, and 20% if it's beyond good! That way you cover the shampoo, the cut, the color, and everything!Help! im going to a realllly fancy salon in beverly hills... how much should i tip my stylist?
In more high-end establishments I tend to follow standard tipping etiquette, which is 15% for standard service and 20% for above and beyond. Generally, stylists at high end salons provide a great deal more customer service (drinks, etc.). At a general salon I believe its acceptable to tip 10% for standard, 15% for exemplary.
$1,000 to $10,000
10% is perfectly fine.
