And alot of times without asking to bring scissors to my head in the first place!Inches!Has anyone else had this happen?..What did you do?Why is it whenever I go to the salon,the stylist chops WAY too much of my hair off?
that's too bad.. you shuld really find a stylist who listens to you.. and asks you before doing anything. she doesn't seem like she genuinely cares about if you're happy with your look or not. ask your friends for reccomendations!!
and next time they cut too much off, tell them about it! and don't tip them! especially if they have done it before, and especially if they didn't even ask you beforehand.
sounds harsh, but i'm very picky about hair.. good luck!Why is it whenever I go to the salon,the stylist chops WAY too much of my hair off?
i'm a hairstylist and YES it has happened to me.but what are you to do it's gone.i always tried to do what my client wanted NOT WHAT I THOUGHT LOOKED BEST.i have to watch every time i get mine cut,so they want cut to much off. all i can say is it will grow back.
oh man that's not good get a pitcher an show the stylist how you want it an talk to your stylist TELL'EM
I would not go back after that happened once. I would also complain and ask for my money back. Find a stylist who will listen to you and give you the kind of cut you want.
I hate that too. I stopped going to them. For some reason, even if you beg them, they still do it. I used to think they're jealous or something.lol But that's silly. Maybe you can tell them, if they cut too much, you're not going to pay full price.lol. I wouldn't do it, but someone else might....
those are reasons why i cut my own hair.
Hi friend,
Initially I suffered lot by this problem. Usually I am enjoying myself to see with more hair.
Whenever, you go to shop, Before they take the Scissors you tell them clearly that ';Only trimming and not cutting, I want this much hair in another one week';
Or can try this, ';Cut only 10mm hair only'; also make some fun there and keep watching while they cut.
If they cut more, Warn them nicely. This method is currently I am following up and last 6months I did not get such problems.
My best wishes to you also.....
Enjoy the life.....

Try a new salon that has a good reputation and that has top notch hairdressers with good followings, and that has been recommended by friends or family. Also look in magazines for a hairstyle that you like alot and bring it along with you. I always use Beauty Trends Wig Catalogs that I get in the mail. Show it to the hairdresser and tell him or her that you like this certain style and do not want her to cut off more than say 1 inch and be very adement and strong about this. That is what I have done and now I have a great hairdresser that knows my likes and dislikes and she listens to her customers. Tell her your experiences with other hairdressers and that you do not want to be scalped. Let your hair grow to shoulder length before attempting to go to the hairdresser and then take it from there and follow the advice I have given. You will be very pleasantly surprised at the result. Good Luck to you.
have you ever tried telling them to put the damn scissors down
